What does buying a prop account mean?
Buying a prop account means paying a small, fixed fee to access capital many times larger. Instead of risking thousands of dollars of your own money, you enter a challenge; if you follow the rules and reach the profit target, you trade the firm's capital on a live account and keep most of the profit.
The most you can lose is the price of the account, which makes prop trading the best way to grow for traders with a reliable strategy but limited capital.
How are MyProp prices set?
The price depends on the account size and the challenge type. Larger balances cost more, and plans with easier rules (like Elite, which has no challenge) cost more than two-step plans.
If you are looking for a cheap prop account, Flex at $1,000 and Standard are the best starting points. To trade a live account without a challenge, choose Elite.
What to check before buying
Compare the daily and overall loss limits, profit target, minimum trading days and leverage with your trading style. A scalper and a swing trader need different rules.
We recommend trying the platform on the demo account and reading the full rules before you buy, so you can pick the right account with confidence.
